Silverstar Casino, 5th November 2016. ROCCI hosted their FNB/ROCCI Annual Business of the Year awards 2016.
Nominated businessmen and women arrived on the red carpet to attend the prestigious, “ROCCI/FNB on Broadway”, Business of the Year awards, at Silverstar Casino.
The MC was none other than Martin Jonas, who had the guests entranced and laughing, with his quick sharp wit and fantastic humour. Before the Nominees were awarded with their certificates, Frog Productions, entertained the guests with their Broadway show in between the formalities.
Nominees were called up and awarded their certification by President of ROCCI Chamber, Mari-etjie Esterhuizen, and Guest Speakers from FNB Regional Head, Gauteng West, Michelle Geraghty & Business Partners Regional Manager Jeremy Lang.
The Keynote speaker namely Nicolina Di Santonio, former President of the Italian Chamber of Commerce and Industry gave a phenomenal insight of her journey, on becoming the first female president of any Chamber in the world.
ROCCI, in conjunction with FNB held its Annual Business of the Year Awards on Saturday, 7
November 2015 at Misty Hills Country Hotel. The purpose of the awards is to identify those
businesses that add great value to the economy and accomplish success.
The panel of judges consisted of SAICA (Chief Adjudicator), FNB Commercial Banking, Business Partners Limited & PCO Alliance Network.
The evening was an unforgettable occasion with the charming Derek Watts as Master of
Ceremonies, with his easy manner and ready smile he kept the guests entertained.
Michelle Geraghty FNB Regional Head Gauteng South West Business Banking introduced the Guest Speaker Mr. Sizwe Nxedlana Chief Economist for FNB and he delivered a positive
message to all businesses.
As the largest organisation of South African businesses, SACCI annually distinguishes outstanding leaders in business with an award in appreciation of their accomplishments. This popular annual event, will recognise trailblazing South African business people within the following

SACCI Chamber of the Year 2015

The award targets SMMEs with less than 300 employees and a turnover be-low R100 million. The company must illustrate its sustainability and future potential to grow and create more local jobs.

Arias Anonymous from Elegant Entertainment surprised all the guest with their performance and opera singing.
